All Trump did was give a speech and then go back to the White House....as was supposed to happen, according to the Secret Service detail that day. They had orders to bring Trump back to the WH, not to let him walk to the Capitol. The president doesn't just get up and take a one-and-a-half mile walk from the Ellipse to the Capitol building without major planning by the security staff!! It wasn't planned and that's why it did not happen. He went back to the WH, turned on the TV and was shocked to see what was happening, and then he sent out a tweet for everyone to go home.

The people who were at the Capitol building that day were incited - that is definitely true. They just weren't incited by Trump! They were incited by the Capitol police, who clearly opened up the gates and doors and let people stream into the building. And they were incited by people walking through the crowd - people like Ray Epps and FBI agents. And it was set up to be that way. And the videos that were finally released of both the outside and inside of the building that day validate this fact!
