My heart broke at the loss of our personnel there, just as it does with the loss of every single soldier in the field, be it private or General. But, I never sensed malicious or criminal behavior, whatsoever. I found it surprising that more attention was paid this incident than the loss of over 200 Marines at Beirut in the early-mid 80s.
