The list goes on!! You say Trump begs for money but fail to mention that Biden has been doing the same thing!! Better than under trump ? Of course we are, that is a given.. first we no longer have Putins puppet in the oval. we have a stronger economy and are working on infrastructure, we are holding the line on the additional tax cuts to the rich which were planned.. At last we have gained respect back in the rest of the world.. having a strong leader again, we have driven the evil doers to again go to war rather than be given gifts by the puppet. we shall once more overcome the evil men do and we shall keep our appointed role and remain the world leader..

Are you suffering from high grocery bills.. so sorry for you.. that small minority is one of the saddest in the country, but the republican orange group will not allow any aid to be sent your way..

We can improve the border but the trump troops refuse to do anything because the border is the key make and issue of it for trump... dump trump and they could meet next week. problem solved..

By the way.. trump plan and effort was only delay the border rush and that has come and gone.. now even with all the obstruction Joe is getting the job done.. while I know the name Joe Biden prefaced by President is hard for you to swallow, but practice and you can do it..

The greed of big oil has driven us to record oil production and we must remember to axe them in the future..

[quote=permafrost]Better than under Trump?

Trump tops his opponents while Biden hits a new low in approval ahead of Iowa caucus: POLL
The 2024 primary season begins with Donald Trump well ahead of his Republican opponents on key measures of popularity, while Joe Biden's job approval rating has dropped to a low for any president in the past 15 years, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds.
With the Iowa caucuses on Monday, the national survey finds Trump especially well-rated by Republicans and Republican-leaning independents on three metrics: having the best chance to win in November, being a strong leader, and being the party's most qualified candidate.
Trump also leads his Republican opponents, by less of a margin, on two other attributes -- empathy (i.e., understanding the problems of people like you) and shared values.
And seven in 10 Republicans and GOP leaners report a favorable opinion of Trump overall.
in all, 72% of Republican-aligned adults would be satisfied with Trump as the nominee, similar to 75% in May. Sixty-one percent would be satisfied with Ron DeSantis. Others score lower -- Nikki Haley, satisfactory to 48%; Vivek Ramaswamy, 44%; Chris Christie (who withdrew Wednesday), 23%; and Asa Hutchinson, 17%.
Satisfaction is harder to find among political moderates, who account for about three in 10 Republicans and GOP leaners. They're 21 points less likely than conservatives to express satisfaction with Trump, 30 points on DeSantis, and 22 points on Ramaswamy.
These gaps essentially disappear for Haley, Christie, and Hutchinson.

Compared with Trump on the Republican side, considerably fewer Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents would be satisfied with Biden as their party's nominee, 57% -- a reflection of his weak ratings overall and on issues including the economy and immigration.

This survey was produced for ABC by Langer Research Associates with fieldwork by Ipsos Public Affairs via its online, probability-based KnowledgePanel®. Past polls used for comparison were conducted by telephone, with efforts in this study to minimize differences; that said, mode effects may be a factor in some cases.
The survey, fielded in English and Spanish, includes a robust sample of 2,228 respondents.

BIDEN/TRUMP -- A Biden/Trump general election, if that's the outcome of the primary season, would represent a battle of markedly unpopular candidates. Among all adults, Biden's approval rating is just 33% in this poll, worse than Trump's low as president (36%) and the lowest since George W. Bush from 2006-2008.
Fifty-eight percent disapprove of Biden's work.
Among groups, just 31% of women now approve of Biden's work in office, a new low (as do 34% of men). He won 57% of women in 2020.
He's at 28% approval among independents, a customary swing voter group; a low of 32% among moderates; and a low of 41% among college graduates, 10 points off his career average in that group.

Trump did not say he wanted to be pardoned for the Russian scandal.
Trump pardons two convicted by Russia investigation
Donald Trump has issued pardons to 15 people including two figures convicted of lying to the FBI during an inquiry into the US president's campaign.
Ex-campaign aide George Papadopoulos and attorney Alex van der Zwaan are among those who received the presidential clemency.
Mr Trump also pardoned four security guards involved in a 2007 massacre in Iraq and two ex-congressmen.
He is expected to issue more pardons before leaving office next month.
It is common for outgoing presidents to use their right to issue pardons, which wipe out convictions.
Barack Obama, whom Mr Trump replaced in 2017, granted 212 pardons and 1,715 commutations - the most since President Harry Truman in the 1940s and 1950s.
By contrast, Mr Trump has now granted more than 40 pardons.

IS TRUMP LYING ABOUT NEW THINGS OR JUST COMPLETELY CONFUSED?

There should be some real concern in Republican Party circles. Donald Trump has always been one for gaffes, confusion, unproven assertions, and outright lies. But lately he seems to have taken it all to a brand-new level.

He has constantly bragged about making the US an oil-exporting country during his administration and vows to “drill, baby drill” if re-elected. What he doesn’t seem to realize is that we have exported more oil than we’ve imported for the past 22 months straight. And then speaking on the economy and the continuing low unemployment under Biden - under 4% month after month after month - he comes up with this gem:

“We had the best unemployment rates ever. And they were real unemployment, not like you have today where nobody’s working and they consider it to be. It’s a whole different thing. Too complicated to explain, but it’s a whole different thing. You don’t have to know about it.”

Actually Donald, yes, yes, we do have to know about it. If it’s too complicated for you to explain, then perhaps you shouldn’t have brought it up - or maybe you should just hand the keys over to someone who knows how to drive? But this week his main issues (lies, confusion, etc.) seem to be focused on one person - and no, it is not Joe Biden.

Trump raised a few eyebrows when he blamed Jan 6 on Mikki Haley, telling the wicked tale of how she refused his offer of 10,000 troops that day. Two things wrong with this: There is no evidence he ever offered any troops to guard the Capitol. And the other - of course - is that he confused the 52-year-old former UN Ambassador and member of his own administration with the 84-year-old Nancy Pelosi, former Speaker of the House. I mean, sure. They both have dark hair, Donald. And they are both shorter than you. And just women, so to you they’re just interchangeable, right? Oh, but it doesn’t end there.

After the New Hampshire primary votes were counted, Trump won by a fairly meager 11 points. Instead of just gracefully thanking the voters, his own staff and volunteers, and moving on, he seemed outraged that Haley announced her continued candidacy. In what has to be the shiniest example in the history of the world of one man’s lack of self-awareness, Trump went on a rant about people refusing to accept that they lost an election. He thought that Haley should have just bowed out, acknowledged him as the winner, and ridden away into the sunset. For those keeping score at home, it has now been over three years and two months since Donald Trump had his rump handed to him by Joe Biden in the 2020 election. He still hasn’t conceded and definitively hasn’t ridden away.
