At times I am forced to worry about the lovely lady who cohabits with me all these years.. today was one of those times.. all Smiles and humming... so asking what was the matter, she let me know...

First, not one but 3 unrelated plants in the house for winter had started growing and showing off.. near 6 weeks early for our glacial covered garden..

Then she looked outside at the bird feeders and found a batch of goldfinches.. several of those are changing into the summer suits... WOW...

So now she is reminding me that all must be good, soon leaves will bud and dandelions will bloom

Drat and I was planning to be a grouch all day..

No! I'm tired of rain. Oh well. I booked a flight to Belize for tomorrow. We will see what it's like down there.

I won't try to get burned. It's a quick trip and wasn't planned till today. My brother was down teaching school and got waylaid by some crackhead. He's in the hospital in critical condition. I'm just headed down to visit. https://www.onepoliticalplaza.com/t-303600-1.html#4776307

Thank-you. I'm currently on a road trip to Philadelphia (not driving) and i'll be headed down first thing tomorrow morning. I'll wile away the hours on here for now and keep wishing for a private jet . And you won't have to do up with me over the weekend. I doubt it anyway.

Oh my... Have to add, my grandson who as I told the world moved to Idaho , loves it and is saying the same sort of things.. sent a photo via facebook he was part of a rescue team .. up the mountain to get some stranded sledders.. not a big avalanche but one sled collapsed the snow/ice they had crossed and hit water. the group decided they were stranded and used the rescue service to get back to base.. Also was not much of a water event only an area where the ski went down.. really sort of sarcasm by the rescue group...

Strange weather indeed..

need to add.. 26 below.... we have only been down to single digits this winter, may be a one time year..

We have plenty of extra rain. We're flooded and muddy. It don't sound like many people are that lucky though. Are you from Texas?
