You are asking for a pretty tall order when you expect someone who is living a lie to be honest, in my opinion. It's pretty clear that kemmer is trying his personal best to convince everyone (and probably himself, too) that the way he has chosen to live is fine. And the lengths he is going to to do that here on OPP are incredible!
What is truly sad is that he doesn't see his falling away from God as something to be concerned about. He seems to see it as joke....or at least he jokes about it. Maybe the jokes and one-liners are his way of dealing with his guilt??? Who knows what goes on in a mind that is as lost as he is right now.

She asked a legitimate question. You're an apostate. You've already told us your priest knows you're queer and gives you the Eucharist making him an apostate too. If Kemmer wants to lead this life style, under the secular laws of the USA, that is his legal right as an American. If he wishes to bash Christianity, which he especially seems to enjoy, that is also his legal right.
I simply hate hypocrisy. How someone can bash the rules and history of Christianity, live a life against those rules, and then claim to be a part of Christianity, even attending Mass, is a contradiction.
His only defense is that Christianity and Christians need to change to his viewpoint. If they do that, and some congregations are doing it, then they are Faux Christians.
It would be so much more logical and beneficial for him, to simply organize his own church. The Peoples Evangelical Gay Christian Church. He could declare himself it's Pope. Rather like if Transgenders would put on their own Olympics. Only Transgenders could compete against one another. Televise it of the LGBTQ Network.
Everyone knows how rich the LGBTQ Mafia is, so I'm sure it would sell.
