Trump has kicked holes in our country, our constitution and our democracy from the moment he came on the political scene. It started by describing Mexicans as rapists and drug dealers except for a few. Next there was the debate at which he debased his opponents by calling them names. Some of you thought that was cute; some of us recognized that as the work of a bully. A debate is supposed to be a discussion of your policies- what you plan to do to make the country a better place. Instead of policy, we got slogans. America first. Make America great again. How? (By getting rid of black and brown people) OH no, we wouldn't say that out loud. It's just get rid of the crime ridden big cities run by Democrats. Rail against the caravans of brown people coming across the southern border. No one cares about white people coming across the northern border. Complain about any news outlet that does not say nice things about you. Make them the enemy. Any investigation of your deeds is a witch hunt. What a baby who couldn't take the heat. Hired and fired people-he demanded loyalty, not truth. Daily nasty tweets. His MAGA nuts then threaten that person. So no politician will say truth to or about him for fear of losing their job or their life. Now he is making fun of the judges, the prosecutors, and the jury.
His followers do not respect congress, the DOJ, the judges, the CIA, FBI, the deep state (those are the workers who do whatever it takes to keep the government running,) or the election commissions of each state. These are the things that a democracy needs. It seems you would like to have a king-good ole Donnie till he dies, so you can have entertainig tweets every day.

When you have no trust in the the vast majority of news sources, no longer trust the executive levels of government agencies, you look to an outsider to clean up the problems and restore faith in the government. It does not mean you want a monarchy, it means you want reform. If you are backing insiders who are solidifying the agencies abusive and/or selective enforcement of laws and regulations, then you are backing either a monarchy or more likely an oligarchy. You end up taking away the people's inalienable rights and giving the power to the government, all for the safety of the people. First you take the guns, next you take away a free press, freedom of speech, you limit the right to assemble, then you limit the people's religious freedom and their right to petition government for the redress of grievances. After that, the government can search and surveil you without warrants. All of our rights will be lost and we will no longer be free citizens. We will be subjects. Unless you know with certainty you will be among the ruling elites or are willing to be mindless sheep, I doubt you will want to live on your knees serving your masters.
