Now I will SERIOUSLY disagree with you. Albert can indeed be snide and snarky. Emily is one of the kindest people I have ever met online, but she is compulsive about speaking the TRUTH, as am I. Both are civil to people who are civil to them......and you have NEVER been such.
YOU have, in your short time on OPP, proven yourself far more angry, abrasive, snarky, rude, ill mannered, and snide that almost anyone else, and almost all your posts reflect it. I treated your question seriously because I ALWAYS believe in giving one more chance, and because it was so out of character compared to your other posts. Now I wonder if you are simply being nice while accumulating anti-religious 'ammo' to fire at your sister.

I understand your point, and I don't mean to be argumentative.
That is why I was speaking specifically about INDIVIDUALS, and not religions or creeds. It is perfectly possible for a person to be a Christian while attending a Mormon Tabernacle, or a Catholic Church, or even a Kingdom Hall. The first person who helped me understand that Christ had died for my sins was a Jehovah's Witness.
WHERE and HOW people worship does not always reflect what is in their heart.
That is my only point.

My personal opinion is that God likes to let people worship in different ways. If a person feels more comfortable approaching God through a priest, or through Mary, I suspect God is there as well, and hears everything. Baptism is the physical and public reflection of God's cleansing Spirit entering our heart. What difference if that representation is done by total immersion, or a light sprinkling? Yet my chosen faith (Southern Baptist) mostly believe that full immersion is required. I support total immersion because that is how the Bible depicts Jesus being baptized, so I prefer that it be done the same way. Does that make it necessary? I doubt it.
Lots of creeds and lots of choices because God wants it that way. We can only speculate as to why.

Do you know how many teachings are completely opposite to the bible and things Jesus Himself taught? I am very familiar with the LDS teachings I grew up in it. With that being said I do believe God judges who goes to heaven,and we will have to see when the time comes. I know people who truely love God and believe Jesus died for them to be forgiven. So I don't speculate on that,I believe the bible is God's word to us,it doesn't need to be added to or pieces taken out to accommodate any man's thoughts on things.
