I never claimed the issues are political. The politics are always transitory, its the spiritual war that will destroy us and that is where the atheistic Left has placed their most aggressive efforts. They have, however, purposely brought issues against our faith into politics: abortion, lgbtq, defense of marriage, etc, etc, etc, and destroyed the balance between Church & State that we always enjoyed before. Consider that in my youth that the Traditional American morals, values, faith, family & love of country, etc., I was taught in my home, were the same as our neighbors, our churches, schools, community, state and across the nation. Democrats and Republicans may have had to compromise on politics yet they shared the very same morals, values, faith etc., etc. Who the bloody hell gave you damn leftists permission to change us? The answer is the adaption of atheistic cultural Marxism. Can you explain what good has been accomplished with the moral compromises? Are you perhaps a moral relativist with your special Bible, "50 shades of gray?"

You claim, "You and I can influence good." How is that possible when you're compromised to accept evil as good? Anytime Conservatives compromise with the cultural Marxist Left we lose another incremental bit of the moral and truthful good.

Left-wing nut one time posted that Donald Trump has lied 30000 times. Yet For the last 2 years I've been asking for a list of those 30000 lies. You know how many times it's been posted 0. You know why? Because the left post a lie in the rest of you run with it. Waiting for list!

I’ve told you numerous times it’s a catalog ( 5 million words)and sent you access information. Do a little leg work yourself before you start name calling and making miss statements about “ left post a lie”. It’s out there look it up, too much to cut and paste.

Here is the reference again:
When The Washington Post Fact Checker team first started cataloguing President Donald Trump’s false or misleading claims, we recorded 492 suspect claims in the first 100 days of his presidency. On Nov. 2 alone, the day before the 2020 vote, Trump made 503 false or misleading claims as he barnstormed across the country in a desperate effort to win reelection.
This astonishing jump in falsehoods is the story of Trump’s tumultuous reign. By the end of his term, Trump had accumulated 30,573 untruths during his presidency — averaging about 21 erroneous claims a day.
What is especially striking is how the tsunami of untruths kept rising the longer he served as president and became increasingly unmoored from the truth.
Trump averaged about six claims a day in his first year as president, 16 claims day in his second year, 22 claims day in this third year — and 39 claims a day in his final year. Put another way, it took him 27 months to reach 10,000 claims and an additional 14 months to reach 20,000. He then exceeded the 30,000 mark less than five months later.

Read our full report on the database.
See the pace of Trump’s false claims in this amazing visual graphic.
Visit the Trump claims database website and explore it. The database has an extremely fast search engine that will quickly locate suspect statements made by Trump. Readers can also isolate claims by time period, subject or venue.

The fact checks in the database amount to about 5 million words and many include links to sources that debunk Trump’s statements.
The Trump claims database was nominated by the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University for inclusion in a list of the Top Ten Works of Journalism of the Decade. “The project is a sterling example of what journalists should do — holding the powerful accountable by using reporting and facts,” the nomination said.

You say it’s not political but spiritual then you say the “left”-Political is cause of changes, then you say Republicans and Democrats shared the same morals values , faith etc. and leftists changed us.

Sounds to me that people and views have changed and you say it’s not political and that the left has changed us. Maybe peoples views have changed and you are looking for a scapegoat and decided contrary to your statements that it is political and the left that did it.

Government over the decades has had both party leaders and or majorities in Congress. Legislation has been passed congress( republicans and democrats), survived Supreme Court scrutiny as our government is supposed to work. We vote for Congress and President to represent us.

So much of the degradation you state has always been there, but not always visible, ( internet, special interest groups, trying to make broad brush legislation to support low percentage issues means many people will take exception.

Many races are in minority, many religions are minority, LGBT is a minority, different age groups are a minority, abortion is an emotional issue, etc. when Federal government try’s to legislate these issues it uses the constitution and amendments as it’s base, Federal legislation affects all USA citizens and has to be written to respect all people beliefs and rights per constitution . Issues not resolved at Federal level then are left to each state to legislate as state representatives see fit based on their constituents inputs.

The process works, and some will always disagree, we need to quit pointing fingers at left or right and point at ourselves to be active with our representatives to let them know of feeling, work to influence their votes and vote them out where they don’t support constituents views. We each have to continue to civilly voice our opinions to our legislators and others to move the majority.

Blaming left or right for all our issues some that have been around since founding of our country some new. Blacks freedom was a civil war issue, womens right to vote was suffragette issue, womens right to control medical choices related to abortion is a changing issue especially with Roe vs Wade overturn- moving to states which gives a hodgepodge of legislation state by state, marijuana is another caught between Fed Govt and states, .

Each of these issues will have a majority of people that support a position and a minority that are opposed. Each person needs to take a position, if don’t like it challenge it, but we can’t hate the majority decisions or people that make these decisions. It’s the way a democratic republic works I believe.

Sorry I rambled but it’s my thoughts shared so you understand where I’m coming from.

Thanks for sharing your views.

Yeah, I tire of this one sided narrative.

Trumps own words in his taped interview ( and book)with Bob Woodward highlights lies Trump Knowing told citizens when he told Bob he just didn’t want to worry citizens. Many more there, in WSJ, Politico and other fact checkers, Trump continues to lie today on many things especially the “ stolen election lie” which Trump is indicted for for trying to steal. Let’s see how that plays out in court.
Empirical evidence is facts not conspiracy theories or “ alternate facts”, assessments, views and opinions based on facts should be accurate, those with no supporting facts are questionable. You show me facts and I consider, you state partisan Biased conspiracy theories, then questionable.
Problem I have is facts against MAGA are deemed all fake news, leftist source, untrue vs facts are facts believe them. Here’s some “empirical data”:
Does Trump lie yes. Does Biden lie yes. Does Trump lie much more than Biden yes- facts, all various fact checkers agree.
Is Trump ranked by historians 41st of 45 presidents who have held office- yes that’s a fact, they use the same criteria. MAGA will same they are biased, all left wingers, wrong- but they use same criteria and support with actual accomplishments while in office. Even if they were 50% off Trump would be average at best. Will be interesting where they put Biden when his term or terms a President are over. Check it out. Obama ranked much higher than Trump by historians.

I wonder what they're going to think when they find out they were wrong?

Dear friend, it seems to me that the patterns of biblical history are that individual souls are judged in eternity but the nations and societies of men are judged in this life. God promised He would never destroy us again, at least by flood, but He never promised He would never allow us to destroy ourselves. This spiritual war is extremely deadly inasmuch as it kills both bodies and souls. Matt 10:28 - "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

For love of our Lord and our fellow man we fight evil the best we are able. It's not that complicated for us. We keep the faith and we persevere.

Not feasible so what’s a real solution going forward?
Also corruption exists in all large enterprises to some extent- statistically impossible not to happen. Control must be in place to prevent, minimise and or identify corruption early in processes . Replacing everyone if “ hiring” or if Candidate vetting process is not changed , some level of corruption will continue. You will lose knowledge of processes and procedures that could create more chaos.
I think the don’t cross party platform 100% partisan, no compromise gridlock must be fixed. One way would be like Europe whoever has majority in congress is party candidate that becomes President. ( that’s not realistic in our democracy without a law change ). Or people vote in partisan way.
I think 2024 will be interesting in down ballot voting in states. Time will tell.

I cannot believe how utterly stupid your response is but it goes hand in hand with what you are. A thinking person might wonder how it is that America kept to the same basic traditional morals and values for hundreds of years then beginning 60 years ago drastic changes began and today America and her people are unrecognizable from her past greatness. Personally, I attribute it to dumb, simple-minded bastards who compromised America to adopt the atheistic cultural Marxist propaganda believing that these changes are good, that they show compassion and tolerance. A thinking person would respond, "Bullshit, look what you have utterly destroyed."

Peruse these goals and tell me what political party adopted and promotes them.

It's true that for us Christians it is pretty simple: Good vs Evil....Hate vs Love...Right vs Wrong. The issue with this war is that Satan wants it all. He wants our "goodness" our "Love" and he wants us to "do the wrong thing" as much as possible. And he puts blinders on those who are weak and whose souls are malleable.

I see all of this darkness...unrest...beginning to surround people from all walks of life. Yes, this has been going on for years and years, but it seems to me that lately with the increase in baby-killing, child grooming, gender confusion and a sexual revolution the likes of which we have not seen - at least in modern times - and a president who seems to want to force our beautiful, prosperous country into ruination - that we are facing one of the biggest battles we've ever been subject to. And that is because it involves our very souls...our eternity! That is what people aren't seeing! They need to step back....way back....and look at the bigger picture. It's not just a little spat that's going on here!
