In person voting really discriminates against one of the democrat’s largest voting blocks. It’s a real hardship for the dead to wait in line.

That's what we do every election day- no matter what type of election it is.

Good points, all. The bottom line here, which should be obvious to everyone, is that voting by any means other than in person with valid ID is simply a means to enable fraud to occur. Those on the left always fall back on the issue of convenience over safety and security. They will argue that it is simply a way for Republicans/Conservatives to hold down the vote of minorities.

In my opinion, that is simply a convenient excuse, willfull thinking if you will, as a justification weaken the fundamental means of obtaining a honest and fair election, with a valid paper trail that would facilitate a recount, should that be necessary.

I love your analogy of the "Black Friday" sale (if your really want something, you will find a way to get it).

In many states, early voting is permitted in town halls, or registrars offices. Often times, this process is allowed for one or two weeks ahead of election day. What that not eliminate most if not all of the reasons for mail-in ballots? How does everyone feel about early voting?

Another excuse in my opinion. Do older people wait in line at the supermarket check out counters, Black Friday sales events, etc? Does that reason warrant opening the door to the mail-in ballots and drop box/ballot harvesting scheme?

I believe the way Florida uses absentee ballots is the way to go. If we made voting day a Holiday it would eliminate much of the vote by mail excuse. Also early voting should be no more than two weeks before the actual voting day IMO.

Jim, early voting just gives democrats
more time to calculate the number of fraudulent votes they need to fabricate in order to "win". Early voting is cheating just like mail in voting. Absentee ballots need to be notarized which cuts down on fraud and leaves a paper trail to fraudulent notaries which puts them at risk of arrest. People arrested and convicted of vote fraud need to be given 20 year sentences with no early release. That would slow them down

I agree. Except for the elderly, the infirm, and military I see no reason for mail in or early voting.

Now days a lot of people are working far from their polling places through Election Day. Absentee voting should not be confused with mail in and ballot harvesting.
