The Jews vote Democrats because, after WW2 and into the 80's and 90's the left was viewed as more promoting of individual rights and freedoms. The Jews thought, after the holocaust, that the Democrats were their best chance to be left alone. To not be persecuted. But progressivism is subterfuge for more government engineering of society. Progressive social engineering was a large part of what led to Hitler's final solution.

The right Neocons, on the other hand, were considered as being more big government world manipulation. Forcing our vision of a form of government onto a world that doesn't necessarily want it.

The parties positions have slowly reversed beginning in the 70's and 80's. Unfortunately people often don't recognize slow change over time until it's too late. It's a lot more complicated when you start looking at motivations, intentions and methods, but, in the end both parties are only about control and power.
