The San Diego library has entered into a project where books banned from schools and libraries in quasi fascist states are available online nationwide for free! This means a person in some backward hellhole town in Texas can go online and read books about actual American history and matters of reproductive health or non traditional families banned locally by fundamentalist religious nuts.

While 91 percent of Republicans, 88 percent of Democrats and 84 percent of Independents said that citizens' free speech rights were extremely or very important to U.S. democracy.

I was just wondering about this this morning. Banned books on the internet. What a concept. Anyone can log in. By the way, John Green's YA books are even a good read for adults.
