You know, I prefer people with strong opinions, as opposed to those with none. I can't tell you how many times I've changed my mind, because of what someone else has said. Those who can't, or won't listen to anyone else, have their uses as well, because they may be right. I listen to everybody and reserve the right to accept, or reject their opinions, as I see fit. It isn't necessary for them to agree with me. I'm just selfish that way.

You comment doesn't make a lot of sense.

In Salem, their superstitions caused them to over react, and got a number of people killed and injured.

They did not start a religion, that spread world wide four 1,400 years, demanding, not only the beheading of witches, but, also of everyone else that doesn't have their beliefs.

So far the number of people who got hurt and killed in the Salem Witch hunts is less than twenty and it was all over before the year was out.

So far, the estimates of the number of people killed by the Muslims during their Medieval Caliphate is around 260 MILLION, with no end in site.

Good post, Cold Iron. I totally hear you when you talk about how we can't profile because it's just not PC. Israel only avoids airline hijackings because it DOES profile! Not too long ago there was a case of a Muslim woman who told a TSA agent she refused to be patted down because of religious reasons and I think she got away with it! Then there was the case in Florida where a Muslim woman refused to have her drivers' license picture taken without her face covered with her veil. The DMV insisted that her face had to be shown for identification purposes and the woman sued for discrimination! Sometimes you have to wonder who the real enemy is, the terrorists or ourselves.
