The Middle East conflict is framed as one of the most complex problems in the world. But, in reality, it's very simple. Israelis want to live in peace and are willing to accept a neighboring Palestinian state. And most Palestinians do not want Israel to exist. As Dennis Prager explains, this is really all you need to know. In 5 minutes, understand how Israel was founded, and how, since that auspicious day in 1948, its neighbors have tried to destroy it, again and again.

I concur and made remarks about the same thing.

Very good article dtucker300!
Thanks to Victor Davis Hanson. A brilliantly written article that summarized and declared all the facts of the events on the present Israel's situation and the Middle East crisis.

Iran thru Hamas as the main perpetuators acted most barbaric to totally destroy Israel. I consider this event next to the Holocaust. Worst than 9/11! The way how Hamas brutalized the people of Israel.

The barbaric behavior of Hamas, the worst I could ever imagine, as perpetuated by Iranian regime. Unfortunately, the Biden administration with the chief alliance of the Barack Obama administration, have been the enabler that had empowered Iran over the years since 2009.

The series of financial rewards given to Iran a terrorist country with several underground tunnels for nuclear arms factory. Here all the money from the United States under Barack and Joe Biden were utilized to produce thousands of ammunitions to bomb and end Israel's existence.

The fact that Israel needs urgent weapons assistance, Biden has kept silent hesitant to make decision how to save Israel. This need is urgent. It needs action, but until now Joe Biden just wagged his tongue yesterday as a window dressing pretending to help Israel.

Israel is the smallest country but the most important country in the world has been relentlessly pounded by Hamas, and Hezbollah from its existence. Iran wanted to totally eliminate Israel from the face of the earth. Israel has been trying to protect itself. Israel owns the land since several thousands of years ago, only to be invaded by Muslims during its creation in the 7th century AD.

There are terrorists inside America. Two or more are in Congress, several among the Biden and the Obama administration by assisting Iran through funneling of tens of billions of dollars. $150 billion since Barack Obama, plus $1.7 billion in CASH. Then $7 billion from Joe Biden. Biden wants to buy Iran's oil, as he emptied our oil reserves and sold to China.

I am sure the 8 million illegal invaders, there are plenty Islam terrorists, that had gotten inside, while Biden provides luxury hotel to stay at the taxpayers' cost of $500 each per night.

Biden was so kind to Muslims as shown during the Afghanistan withdrawal. He left the Taliban the US ammunition worth $85 billion. Taliban sold it to Iran, and now used to totally destroy Israel.

This a very clever manipulations of power under the Obama and the Biden administration. None among the Biden administration ever has shown protecting the American people and Israel.

Iran and the illegal invaders are treated better than the political opponents of the Biden and Obama administration. We the people suffer at present.

Israel is the smallest country in the world, but the most important country that America must protect. Because God is watching over us how we treat His own people. I will bless those who bless thee. Genesis 12:3.

Diversity is what is a big part of the problem. Diversity means how we are different; we need to concentrate on our commonalities as Americans and not how we are different.

No one owned this land. But the American Indians came some 30,000 -12,000 years ago.

But the lives of these early settlers, had improved and made civilized upon the arrival of the European settlement.

The First Amerindian Natives are postulated to have come from Asia through the Bering land bridge between 30,000–12,000 years before the present. This was probably true also to the Eskimos in Alaska. Where are they now, I wonder?

The Palestinians didn't have the sole ancient historical claim over the territory if that's what you are alluding to.

Was It? That's a rather parochial way of looking at history. Even if it was theirs did they manage to hold on to it and repel the interlopers? Which particular nations are you referring to? Did Alexander the Great, the Persians, Greeks, Romans, Saxons, Huns, Mongols, Goths, Ottomans, English and European colonizers, etc., take land that wasn't theirs? What about the cannibals of Africa, Central America, and South America? The Spanish Conquistadors with 1500 defeated one million Aztecs. Pizarro defeated the Incas without a single casualty in his force. What is your point or are you just being flippant based on your smiling icon?

It's not...
My point is they have a legitimate claim to the land..
And a right to defend that claim...

What are the boundaries of Israel in the Bible?
This map of ancient Israel features the biblical boundaries of the Land of Israel as described in Genesis 15:18 and Genesis 17:8.

1. Dan is described in the Bible as the northernmost city of the Kingdom of Israel.
2. Be’er Sheva is described in the Bible as the southernmost city settled by the Israelites. Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov all spent time in Be’er Sheva (see map Journey of the Forefathers – Key Places).
3. The Nile River is Egypt’s primary source of water. At the beginning of the Israelite’s slavery in Egypt, Pharaoh commanded that all baby boys be thrown into the Nile (Exodus 1:22), and baby Moses was placed in the Nile (Exodus 2:3) and drawn from the Nile (Exodus 2:5) when he could no longer be hidden from the Egyptians. The first two plagues that God brought upon the Egyptians also began in the Nile (Exodus 7:14-24, Exodus 7:26-8:11).
4. The Euphrates River is the longest river of Western Asia, and is one of the two defining rivers of Mesopotamia.

According to the Bible, the Euphrates was one of four rivers whose source was a river flowing from the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:14).

There are two different phrases often used to describe the biblical boundaries of the Land of Israel:

1. From Dan (1) to Be’er Sheva (2)
2. From the Nile (3) to the Euphrates (4)

I love how you think you're so clever... it's called pride slick.

And I'm not playing God... He commanded that the Israelites take the land and utterly destroy its inhabitants because they were so wicked -- hasn't changes in 3500 years. Only trouble was that human thingy of not obeying Him.
