I don't trust people who say they don't hate anyone. You can't be neutral all of the time. Now if a couple of feral cats are trying to kill one another, I am neutral enough to stay out of it, but there is so much evil in the world that sometimes you must pick a side. You might not want to actively get involved in every battle, but to condemn both sides when one side is clearly wrong is the worst form of cowardice.

When I first read Dante's Inferno I was amused to read about something I had never heard of, the neutral angels. They were the ones who sat out the great battle between God and Satan. They and the souls of the uncommitted who chose to be neither good nor evil, are tortured in the ante inferno which is in Hell, but not formally a part of it. Neither Heaven or Hell will claim them. They must forever chase a blank banner while being bitten by flies and wasps.

Rather like examining the Swiss in WW2. Perhaps being neutral between the allies and Adolf Hitler was smart, but some were involved behind the scenes helping victims. The Swiss Diplomat Carl Lutz rescued Jews in Hungary during WW2.

That's all Gaetz wanted is a real budget where the Republicans take each issue on and vote on a figure...then do other departments or budget issues...less spending, no blank checks and get it done! There was no grudge. McCarthy MADE PROMISES to get enough votes to become speaker. No CRs, spending cuts, etc. He has folded to what the democrats and BIDEN wants every time. Nothing new here. It's called accountability and transparency. 6 was from now they'll do the same thing again.
