This attitude of choosing political appointments based on gender or race parameters is pure horse crap, apparently he said he would appoint a black woman to replace vacancies...well here's the problem, either Katie Porter or Schumer is a more viable candidate in terms of electability than any existing black female prospect. I have a serious problem with the best candidate being overlooked, it's bad for the party not to put the most qualified and electable person in a temporary position prior to an election, it most importantly gives them an incumbent edge that is crucial to the party.
