A lot of the American people are having to do without because the Biden Administration is more interested in illegals than the American citizen.
People are hiring the illegals, if they can find some that will work, because they don't pay taxes, work for about 3 times less than the American citizen who has to pay taxes and provide for their families, the employer does not have to do any paperwork, since most illegals do not want anyone to know where they are or what they are doing., if they paid taxes the government would know where they are and could deport them.
Biden and the Democrats are condoning these open border policies and want to make it legal for them to vote, thinking they will vote for them. That's our politicians number one and only priority anymore is getting re-elected, no matter what it takes to do it. These people are not American Citizens, do not pay taxes, contribute nothing to this country, and should not be allowed one cent of the taxpayers money, and every illegal should be deported and never allowed to apply for citizenship are allowed in this country ever again.
As far as the unemployment goes. The stats have been changed, now, you are not considered unemployed unless you have no job and have applied for one, not just that you have no job. If you are not working and have not tried to find a job, you are not considered unemployed. Here is how you are judged now as being unemployed:

The primary factor in determining whom to count as unemployed is that the person be actively seeking employment. “Wanting a job” is not enough to be counted as unemployed. Who is Not in the Labor Force? People are considered not in the labor force if they are not working and are not actively seeking work." Unemployed figures are a bunch of garbage. Wake up.
