No It Can't be the Active duty military but the National Guard of the Border States. Which may be used by order of the Governors of the border states. This is however a terrible solution to this crisis. You want to Kill Children How is that justified much less American and Christian. We Don't Do That ,We Can't Do That.

64 million American children have been murdered by abortion since 1973. The Left doesn't count the most innocent and helpless of all humanity as victims.
Seen in the light as a foreign invasion, which it unquestionably is, then national security is at risk considering also many on the terrorist watch list, Chinese, and others have entered illegally, then posse comitatus is not applicable and active duty and Federalized National Guard troops would be more apropos would they not?

I believe that there is a law stipulating that the military cannot be used at the borders. However, I think that all we need to do is declare the cartel(s) in Mexico terrorists just like we did Al Queda - and then go after them inside Mexico just like we did Al Queda and the Taliban in Afghanistan and other parts of the world. A natural military maneuver would be to have the military close our southern border. This would stop the average immigrant from crossing our border as they are today. It would also mean that human trafficking and the import of illegal drugs that presently exist at the border to be stopped as well. It would last until the existing cartel(s) were either eliminated by our military or they are forced to stop or negotiate a way to stop using our border as their self-serving means to cross our border.

As for illegal Alien children...Arrest them, & put them in our Child services system...if possible, arrest the parents of those children!
We basically are dealing with unknown Aliens, their intentions are nefarious, & this country cannot support the low class, & incompetent individuals form third-world countries!
have you offered to house any of these Illegals? So far, YOUR solutions are full of holes!

Arresting them and put them where? Our overcrowded prisons. They are already releasing prisoners...they aren't going to be able to put them there...plus we get to pay the cost and we're too sensitive to actually make them work to pay for the costs of keeping them. Children are an even bigger problem. We just can't take this huge influx. Before long Biden or Obama or Newsome will FORCE US to take both children and adults into OUR OWN HOMES. THIS MUST STOP. BIDEN DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE LAWS. HE'LL DO WHAT HE WANTS...THATS WHAT GOT US TO THE "CUP RUNNETH OVER" POINT.

PLUS..ONE OF THE BIGGEST THINGS TO HELP OUR CRIME LEVEL...ACTUALLY HAVE AND USE A 3 STRIKES YOU'RE OUT LAW. 3RD FELONY (DIFFERENT TIMES NOT 3 CHARGES FOR ONE ACT) AND YOU ARE OUT OF OUR SOCIETY FOREVER. YOU CAN DECIDE IF ITS REAL LIFE IN PRISON OR DEATH PENALTY... MAYBE LIFE AND THEY WORK FOR THE COST TO KERP THEM THERE...AND IF THEY FAIL, REFUSE OR DO ANY CRIMINAL ACTS WHILE IN PRISON..IT THEN CHANGES YO DEATH PENALTY. NO MORE THAN 6 MONTHS LATER DO IT.
