Woman Kicked Out of Family Restaurant Over ‘Inappropriate’ Outfit, Take a LOOK
There is a video that has been blowing up online for a while now.
A woman was asked to leave a “family” restaurant for her attire.
She quickly accused the restaurant of being racist for asking her to leave.
The Claim
Aireal Bonner had walked into Southern Kitchen & Bar in Birmingham, AL.
She was wearing a crochet top, which was basically a bikini top.
The restaurant had a dress code, and bikini tops were not on the “approved” list.
They did offer to give her a free shirt so she could come into the restaurant, but she refused.
The whole interaction was filmed by Bonner, who claims the staff “rudely” treated her.
Now, you tell me if you see anything wrong with how she was treated…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DcfEJZZ-kg&t=2sOn her Facebook claim, Bonner posted, “I was threatened with police action simply because I wanted to sit and eat in an outfit that I felt comfortable and happy in.
“There was no customer complaint that prompted the situation.
“This was purely the way that the ‘owner’ chose to run his business.”
If those are the rules, those are the rules.
I have been refused going into a bar for having flip-flops in during the summer, so I really don’t see the problem if they have a posted dress code.
What do you guys think… racist or restaurant was right for asking her to leave?
