I’ve thought that before. Especially posters like Kevyn. Pretty good sentence structure and loony left ideas but always hit and run. Not enough depth to converse with an actual person.

The report I read this morning from the Brookings Institute sad AI is environmentally radical and politically left wing.

Artificially created intelligence ,would likely make up its own mind .Chat bots ,and chat GPT are not real A.I. Can you imagine how powerful a real AI must be ?
The supercomputers ,and advancing quantum computers both here and abroad surely hold something extraordinary .
Any self aware A.I. would be like a child ,because it takes time to mature ,no matter how much knowledge it acquired .
Would it be male ,or female ?
How old do you think this entity might be ,say in human terms ,if it exists.

WTF? My wife has had artificial intelligence for years! She remembers stuff, from the day we met, until NOW! I use to think she was making it up, because I sure don’t remember those things, but, she can come up with written or photographic proof, about half of the time.

Sometimes, I think we just remember different things. That ain’t it. She remembers the things I can remember too (vaguely), then she reminds me.

Anybody else experiencing this phenomenon?

....when in high school there was science fiction movie called (i think) colossus.....it were the definitive computer that ran u s defenses......the rooskies copied it and theirs was guardian......soon the two connected and decided they didn't really need humans and wiped us out with nuclear war.....??
