It has already failed. The US is now operating on borrowed funds. These funds must be repaid. It is not a bad idea to shut down most discretionary spending by the govt.

There is always a budget. They need to pass a budget that only pays for the required things in the constitution or are required by law. Far to much spending for the wish list that does not provide for the people who are paying for these things.

The deficit we have today is. Basically caused by the same thing.
Tax breaks for the Rich every Republican year since Reagan .
These are added to the deficit .

Who's handing out all the goodies to those that won't work, to illegal aliens, billions to ukrain, foreign aid to countries that hate, biden is giving millions to Iran. You know, those death to America people. All this is being paid for by democrats using borrowed monies. Republicans my ass.

The problem is when republicans spend money it’s divided amongst a very few.
