Not at all! My brothers truck got stolen last week! Two chicks were driving it around picking up folks mail and packages! Cut the catalytic converter and trashed the ignition! Had a gallon gas in back to burn it! The police asked if they wanted to press charges ! They said absolutely! So even in cally it’s grand theft and a federal crime because of mail! Yay two Mexican chicks and cohorts going to prison for a while!!

I live in South Florida. About 15 years ago my car was stolen. A few days later I got a call to come to the police station because the thief had been caught in a neighboring town. The detective asked if I wanted to press charges. I responded that if he just gave me the mans name and address I would take care of the issue myself. He smiled and told me he couldn't do that so I then pressed charges.
