You know, you put your check in the envelope, and expect it to get there.
How should the people who take care of that in this day, and age be evaluated for employment?

We do almost everything by internet. Most of what we get in the mail is junk that we have to recycle. We *could* compost, but the inks and adhesives contaminate the whole compost biome.

Mail carriers are becoming obsolete.

Not everyone does almost everything via internet. I pay bills by mail and go to an actual store when I want something.

Tell your mail carrier that, and see how that works out for you.🤣🤣

I tell all of the customers on my route to either give their outgoing mail to me, or go mail it INSIDE the Post Office. Those blue collection boxes aren't safe anymore.

It's a minority thing, many can't read. I often get someone else's mail and fail to get mine. I think the government refers to this as progress.

I live in a small town that doesn't have mail curriers. We receive our mail in a small P.O.Box.

I think it's a younger generation thing. They just want the paycheck, and don't care.

Did you know that the Postal Service doesn't drug test employees? Including new hires.

I walk around 12 miles a day. 434 boxes on my route, and I know every name to be delivered, forwarded, etc. A few rentals that turn over kind of give me trouble, but, I do my job best I can.

Not sucking up to you but our postal workers deserve every dollar and benefit they are paid , This country would suffer without the postal service and no doubt we should pay our postmen well for getting our mail through no matter the weather--forest fires --national emergencies and mayhem .

You left out all the dogs that don't bite. Oh! And last nights three bean green chili burrito that kicks in when I'm 2 blocks away from my vehicle, which sits a half mile away from a toilet!
