I still firmly believe the overwhelming majority of people want the same basic things in life. The main problem is a government that fuels the fire of division; without division they don’t survive. Both parties are guilty as can be and both are at risk if this division disappears. Pitting one against the other is their lifeblood. They’re supported by the media because fear sells. Fear is at the heart of every news broadcast. I strongly believe a very small percentage of the population are given 90% of the attention to perpetuate the divide. The fringe elements of society rule the day and are in competition to out do each other on the lunacy trail. I travel quite a bit; here and abroad. I see this wherever I go. The media dramatize every damn thing they broadcast. Do problems exist? Absolutely; yet I don’t see it on the scale that the government and media would like us to believe, and need us to believe in order for them to survive. The government and the media are far more corrupt than the vast majority of the people they’re supposed to serve.
