I particularly like a rand paul/ben carson ticket. paul brings a defense only military position that would attract many in the middle and on the left.
carson brings his amazing sense of the right thing to do, as well as a large % of the minority vote.
just to top it all off, let's have trey gowdy as attorney general.

Wow! I do love that Trey Gowdy! He's smart and gutsy. How I wish all of our "representatives" were like him. I'm not sure about Rand Paul. But I like Ted Cruz, and I have to say I also like Rick Perry.

I agree and that is why I fear for him if he gets too close to exposing the real truth.

What an amazing set of “coincidences.” “Failed” computers, prematurely “retired” equipment, dumping the IT backup vendor just after the investigation began: these guys make Watergate look like knocking off a kid’s lemonade stand.

Just curious, is there anyone that believes the IRS is NOT covering up illegal behavior? Is there anyone who doesn't think that a whole bunch of IRS employees belong in prison?

Why have we not subpoenaed the IT guys at the IRS?

The IRS claims that it lost Lerner’s emails from 2009 to 2011 including emails to and from the White House, when her computer crashed in the midst of the agency’s conservative targeting program. The IRS also claimed in a transcribed interview that many other IRS employees who worked under Lerner in her Washington, D.C. department and its Cincinnati-based affiliate also experienced computer crashes that deleted their emails, bringing the total number of crash victims to “less than 20.”

Seriously?

The Democrats learned a lot from the Nixon administration. Nixon was forced to resign for a fraction of what Obama has done. Yet as we see Obama still has supporters and those willing to excuse whatever corruption he engages in. One has to wonder are these people just willfully blind, or as corrupt as Obama is

I was a Run Ben Run fan till I read his book and now when I find out his take on the 2nd will not support him.

Ben thinks that 10% is a good tax rate but fails to understand that 60% of the GNP slides under the radar and never gets taxed.

The only way to start fixing the shit hole called Washington DC is to pass the Fair Tax law. Disband the IRS, make everyone of those pukes go and get a REAL job, one that creates wealth instead of destroying it. Dump the corporate tax myth and tax every retail sale in the USA which will bring in more money than the income tax ever did.

Do we need to get the spending under control, you bet. Start putting some of the criminals in DC in jail. Any body who bounces a check loses their job in DC, elected or not. Stop ALL pensions, health care and make them all start having to live like the rest of the country.

Sorry Ben, you do not get my vote.

Their whole lives are a lie and lies have become just another acceptable, alternative for dealing with an uncomfortable situation.

Pleading the 5th is not an admission of guilt, it is a refusal to discuss the issue. I am not defending Lois Learner in fact I think she should be in chains and an orange jumpsuit, not because she plead the 5th but because she is guilty of targeting political thought (tyranny) and obstruction of justice. Just saying...

He-lies-a Cummings still thinks theyre innocent, Obama dead so, so it must be. I believe I heard its 7 yes they're supposes to keep back ups. Its all a crock, Lerner showed her guilt just pleading the fifth. The only question is how deep does the rabbit hole go

What this country needs is some good public hangings. I suggest they hang ALL persons involved in the IRS cover up around the capitol building..... let their flesh rot, their bones bleach out in the sun as a reminder to all others from this day forward. We the people deserve more from our elected representatives than these crooks.

Could we dangle a couple at the steps of the Washington Federal Reserve compound also?

Cummings conspired with Lerner. That's why he wants to shut down the investigation. The IRS just two days ago has admitted that there are backups of the emails. It took two federal judges to force the IRS into admission. For two years now the IRS has maintained that the emails were lost. But, as a result of citizens group(I think, law and order) the IRS produces a never before seen email. A week ago two federal court judges ordered the IRS to produce the email or, present evidence under oath why they can't be produced. No back ups is crime. Obviously, a few people are scared they may now go to prison. Ms. Lois is , perhaps changing panties three times a day now. How comfortable would you be facing a federal judge on obstruction of justice, destroying evidence, conspiracy to destroy evidence, violating the civil rights of citizens under color of authority, perjury, destruction of federal property, failure tto comply with a lawfull subpoena. ETC. Must be a run on JC Penny for new underware.

Judicial Watch is the group that sued, many of their clients were those targeted by this corrupt administration. We are now hearing about how they were scratched , but may still exist because these criminals are no longer just testifying before Congress, where they have no compunction about lying, they are having to testify under oath before a federal judge, where oh-oh there may be actual consequences to perjury

I am so happy to have you with us here on 1PP. We think a lot alike. I have proposed putting them in stocks and traveling them around the nation and giving citizens in the town squares rotten fruits and veggies to throw at them at will. I must admit, though, that your method may be better, though my method would be a much longer period of severe discomfort.

The GOP elites got their man the last two elections and lost. Do you think they have learned the people will not vote for Democrat Lite. To win they have to run someone who will bring in those who do not vote because they do not see a real difference between the two parties. The GOP does not need to become more like Democrats to win. It needs to be unlike them.

Republican behavior in the recent Mississippi race speaks to your comment...loudly.
