The folks who are getting the free stuff don't like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.
Consequently, the folks who are paying for the free stuff want the free stuff to stop.

And the folks who are getting the free stuff want even more free stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!

Now... The people who are forcing the people who pay for the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING
the free stuff that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.

So... The people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff and giving them the free stuff in the first place.

We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff.

Now understand this......All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded.
The reason?

The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.

The United States officially became a Republic in 1776, 243 years ago.

The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff.

Failure to change that spells the end of the United States as we know it.

The analogy is spot on and we are slowly committing mass suicide. We have already swallowed the pill and it is desolving in our stomach. If we don't get the anecdote soon we will perish and those around us won't help. They will not only spit on our dying body, they are lining up to kick and punch us until we are lying their to helpless to even help ourself. We have to take the anecdote ourselves and soon while we are still able and it is not to late. 2025 might be our last chance and the current administration is only offering more pills to speed our demise.

Though I know you are a troll, I will answer your questionsas simply as possible so you might be able to understand my answer.

I posted the topic in question, and to me there is by one God, the God of Israel and of Christianity. You can worship your soiled underwear or a condom with a hole in it as your god if you wish. I don't care but you may one day regret your choice.

Lazy is easy. Whole, healthy individuals sitting on their backsides while work is available and just waiting on the government teat to suckle one is a good start, even if you "educated" can't figure it out.

Drug screening is not required for gaining access to the government mammary. Where it required there would be no money to buy drugs. Food stamps gets tattoos, booze and cigarettes.

Your response seems a tad harsh to a reasonable question. It's you who come off sounding like a progressive troll as progressive trolls usually resort to name calling since it's all they've got. We have to be better than that. Your original post seems to be based on Scottish Professor Alexander Tyler's thesis from 1787 about the Fall of the Athenian Republic which America seems to be following on schedule. He sites the cycle of all Republic as beginning with Bondage then thru Faith advancing to Courage and from courage they gain Liberty which leads to Abundance. However the Abundance soon leads to Complacency which turns to Apathy, then Dependence and eventually back into Bondage. In my opinion, the United States is currently in the apathy stage and we'd better wake up as every Republic is replaced by a Dictatorship.

I am not a troll. What do you consider to be a troll? I believe in one God. What anyone else believes in is their concern. I have many friends who are not Christian including pagans and atheists. In what state can you use food stamps to buy drugs, cigarettes, tattoos and alcohol? Not in any state I have ever lived in.

You obviously are unaware of how the system has been hijacked by the ne'er do wells. The food stamps are sold off or bartered for commodities or cash that can then be used to obtain otherwise banned items (e.g., tattoos, booze, drugs). Some might call this fraud.
