Because it is. It is time consuming, getting all of your ducks in a row. Then if the States and Feds are too lazy to prosecute the bad guys, then all you are doing is harassing the good guys.

Where I live you can go online and do it .or go to a gun store and they will do it for you for $20

You start when you catch the bad guys like Hunter Biden. He and everyone else who intentionally puts false information on a gun form, need to do hard time. This ain't rocket science. You must stop giving everybody a break.
And I am just getting started. The other big gun crime that almost never gets fully prosecuted is straw buying of firearms. If Grandma buys a gun for her crack head grandson who has a record, Grandma needs to go to the hoosegow. I know, I know you think I am full of horse manure, but I ain't.
