Actually just to set the record straight, not filing your taxes, filing late and paying what you owe with the interest and penalties has never landed anyone in jail, never if ever.

The gun charges can have prison time involved, but looking at when that happens, it is always associated with people who have other criminal things going on such as higher level dealing or crimes to where it is conducive to using it as an enhancement
