I’m not sure. 😂 But I am sure the Regressive Progressives and MSM fantasy writers would have a field day. I’ve always had the idea that f I ever ran for public office, at my announcement, I’d immediately follow with every sordid thing from my past, from the age of 5 on, and challenge my opponents to do the same. Just lay it all on the table. That would put them all in a meltdown. Then tell the public, it’s all out there, now let’s move on, focus on the issues, and the differences in our plan.

I would like to be in charge of the transportation and energy department. I can make it work. On energy develop the hell out of every single energy source we have . Petroleum-Coal Hydro electric-Electric -Magnets-- Hydrogen etc. we want energy independence don't we . Quit pussy footing around and escalate repairs and replacements on all of our roads and highways . Our sh*t is run down everywhere . We have the money we just have to make the best use of it and the place to start is by cutting the fat off our bureaucracy . There are way to far many people in our government tripping over each other trying to justify their jobs . That is my proposal .And I await approval .

You have my approval too... What you propose sounds exactly like what our founders intended the role of govt to be. Unfortunately.. our current govt doesn't share your 'visions', and/or idea they should exist only to take care of problems common to their communities, which will facilitate and ease the similar burden(s) every responsible citizen really faces (like drivable roads.. running water.. toilets flushing.. capable and effective police and fire depts-none of which is rocket science) while they are trying to achieve their own dreams/successes. It's b/c our govt has expanded into the social justice and cultural claptrap business that things have become 'complicated' and extremely overbearing. The bigger it-our govt-has expanded, the more it has become the destination for self-serving and megalomaniacal conn artists, snake-oil salesmen, and special interests groups (now stinking up both sides of the proverbial aisle) who will clearly go to any lengths to preserve what they have clearly built (for themselves). What we now have in essence are folks peddling solutions in search problems to solve (to attach them to).. and in govt stuff, this is a recipe to disaster.. esp when there is no genuine oversight or meaningful debate engaged in (publicly). This has allowed govt to make arbitrary rules everyone else except them is expected to follow.. and the conns/snakeoil salesmen WILL exploit these type circumstances EVERY chance they get. As was mentioned earlier.. their most overused trick now is bundling all kinds of garbage together into one big FUBAR pkg which they will then 'rush thru' the process. Term limits would be a good start, but I'm afraid getting this selfish mindset out of Wash is going to require basically throwing out ALL our currently elected reps, and starting over fresh-thank GOD most of what they do ISN'T rocket science.. and common sense will usually be all that is needed (to fix most of the reasonable and common 'community needs' they come up against). It's such a quagmire right now that anyone willing to help get us back on track absolutely understands they ARE NOT going to get a warm welcome in that cesspool Wash has undeniably become.

Another huge part of the problem is we have stupidly glorified the 'bad boy' image, which in effect has demeaned being selfless, principled, and 'practicing what you preach' at all times.

Doing what needs to be done isn't going to be easy nor nice, b/c the swamp NEVER plays by the rules.. and like rust it NEVER sleeps.
