I don't get all the flap about being woke . This country has been a long time waking up to our bigoted past and present . I truly believe we have improved considerably on that . I was a son of an Indian and was abused because of it . The town I grew up in had colored fountains and rooms . We had Green river ordinance signs in a lot of neighborhoods-- No Blacks allowed --. I don't see that garbage any more . God is universal to every living soul. If that is all woke is I am not worried that we will crumble as a nation .

Woke nowadays refers to being aware or well informed in a political or cultural sense, especially regarding issues surrounding marginalised communities - it describes someone who has “woken up” to issues of social injustice.

Change is an eternal event. It depends on whether it is good or bad only from our own perspective. I believe that the changes coming to America will soon be a loss of world dominance. Too many nations are coalescing into blocs that are moving away from America. Maybe that is good or maybe bad but is and event that is gaining momentum.

I do not think that is all WOKE is. For that movement to force their ideas on everyone is no better than the past you mention. Do you truly believe that by taking the bias of the past and using it by another name directed at another group will change anything? That seems to me it will deepen the divide.
