You bring a lot to this place because of your background. I like to think I know a lot about Russia and Communism, but it's only what I have read about and have seen documentaries on. You actually lived in Russia and under Communism, and that gives you knowledge and perspective the rest of us do not have. You are also very pro America.
I view Canuckus as a good resource, even when I bash heads with him. He is over in China. He knows how people over there think. None of us know what he knows. Sometimes arguments are good. They can bring out facts and viewpoints that are interesting. I have yet to find something positive about AF1's contributions to these discussions we have. There is nothing interesting about him. I am always prepared for a good spat with anyone, but there has to be more to a poster than pure anger.

We all make mistakes on OPP. Spelling, grammar, and just flat out senior moments happen. AF1 makes so many and even if you point them out to him just to be charitable, he will refuse to acknowledge them. He will post long rambling diatribes filled with questionable points. If you question those points he will generally ignore you. Sometimes he will attack you, but he will not defend what he threw up against the wall most times.
