The stupidity of the right having a problem with going after tax fraud is sheer raw ignorance at it's best.

The stupidity of the left who don't realize that the truly wealthy they profess to hate will be unaffected by these agents would be amusing if it weren't so infuriating. The truly wealthy have most of their taxable money in tax shelters, buttressed by layers of accountants and tax lawyers. The IRS always concentrates on low-hanging fruit, that being the middle class who cannot afford all these fancy bastions of security. Most IRS audits are of people making considerably less than half what Biden the liar claims are "wealthy tax cheats." Once more, the middle class will be screwed, and the brainless left will applaud the government "soaking the rich," while the rich laugh at the clueless virtue signaling and self-righteous dumbassery of the left, as they gleefully applaud the financial castration of the taxpayer.
I remember a couple of decades ago the IRS spent probably several thousand dollars trying to collect about $300 they said I owed. Turns out it was their mistake and I owed them almost nothing. Of course, it's not their money; it's yours.
More than likely they will spend the 80 billion or so they receive and end up collecting a few million bucks from middle class victims. That's the main reason they prefer harrassing lower income people... you know, the ones who can't afford high dollar lawyers and accountants who are far more competent than most IRS agents.

Why do you not look up his tax record as a dem vs as a rep.

""It is common knowledge that right wingers hate to pay taxes and will cheat to avoid them.."""" and then referenced Trump.

Most families today don't even have $1000.00 laid back for emergencies.
Guess IRS will put more out on the street like the west coast.
Need to 'arm' the IRS and put them in electric vehicles.
Great idea demoncrats.

The stupidity of woodguru... there are 141 million taxpayers in the U.S. which according to your figures would mean that EVERY ONE OF THEM would owe the Treasury over $6000.

You're an idiot.

LG, If you are paying more federal tax it is not account of Joe, it was trump and his 2017 tax gift.. your increase was written into that law from day one.. and by 2025 your exemptions will be all gone.. cut away after each election so you would have two years to forget about who did it to you.. But look it up it is the trump gift that raised what you are paying in fed tax..

I guess gestapo IRS agents won't impact you. You have to work for a living and pay taxes to be affected!

The irs and Lois Lerner have shown that the irs can not be trusted and that they are not honest. So no, do not give them more money and power. Pretty simple.

I recall when Lois Lerner was questioned and she continued to take the 5th Amendment. " Anything you say can and will be held against you".
She shut up..🤔

All laws and collection of federal tax dollars is unconstitutional. The IRS was to be a temporary agency to pay friends tax post Civil War. Lincoln, a Republican,, created the IRS with the help of Congress with bi-partisan support.. It was expanded to include WWI. Now no one remembers why the IRS was created. Lawsuits challenging the constitutionalty of federal taxes have failed. Both parties have increased taxes and perpetuated the temporary office of the IRS.
