Hits a bit close to home with people who could be called as leaning to the extreme right. On a right wing hunting site I used to be on, we were talking about how many of the group that would be considered as having the extreme views and attitudes fit a rather unhinged profile. They admitted to domestic violence issues that always seemed to be instigated by the women, although it was always unclear to me how a woman instigates stalking and threats and refusing to adhere to restraining orders. They also seemed to have high incidences of women that made things up to get them and have their guns confiscated.
This is exactly who would be affected by way stronger mental health laws for gun purchases or ownership...and a few thousand unhinged people with anger management issues that can't buy or even own guns is a price worth paying.

It's been proven that those on the left are more emotional and exhibit more mental illness than those on the right or conservatives. That is why friends and families of leftists should be more aware of the tell-tale warning signs of mental health issues and stressors that can lead to suicide or violence.

Many times, people who want to hurt themselves or others show some warning signs before they carry out the act.
One of the most common signs often overlooked is a history of gun violence. Having a past history of gun violence can be a tell-tale sign that an individual will reengage with gun violence.
Past issues with anger and having easy access to firearms can be a warning sign.
Other potential warning signs include:
making direct threats to a place, person, or themselves
suddenly withdrawing from friends, family, and activities
becoming more isolated
expressing feelings of chronic loneliness
increased irritability, lack of patience, or becoming angry quickly
bragging about access to guns or other types of weapons
bragging about or acquiring a large number of guns, ammunition, or other types of tactical gear (such as bulletproof vests)
talking about plans to harm a place, person, or themselves
bullying, especially toward people of a different race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion
highly focused on prior shootings and incidents of gun violence
suddenly and quickly giving away personal belongings
Of course, this isn’t a complete list of warning signs, and showing one or more of these signs doesn’t necessarily mean there will be an attack.
The scenarios for gun violence can vary. Every incident of gun violence is not the same.
