I have drank Blatz and liked it. My Dad got me to drink Schlitz because that was his favorite. In the AF I drank PBR and later Strohs. Then of course growing up in Texas both Pearl and LoneStar were friends favorites and we always took turns picking the hangout refreshments. I now drink more Indys/craft brews and Imports. My favorite Texas beer is Shiner Boch.

When I was at Chanute I drank Schlitz --Good beer-- Tried Stohs did not like it. Carling is the nastiest beer ever beside Cascade that they made in Oregon for a while . "greasy dick " was discontinued so I never tried it but the same brewers make Milwaukiees best .

Back then, Bud was fuddy duddy beer. You could get laid seen with a Schlitz bottle in your hand.
Now, if I drink beer, it's at the local brewery, and they're all good.

I had the worst hangover in my life from Schlitz. While stationed in North Chicago, we went up to Milwaukee for a weekend and tried to drink Milwaukee dry.
