What happens when you find conflicting research?

First I look for conflicting views, I look at facts presented, then try to sort out who is representing the item most truthfully ( that is hard) . Then I try to wrap my opinion based on the facts presented. The source is important ( research firms, government statistics tend to be less political) , I have some charts On reliability of MSM that I use as a guide-attached. Looking at differing views helps me understand others positions right or left or middle. Thanks for asking.

If you stole an election and there was any proof of said act do you seriously believe that they would tell you the truth? The would hide ,bury and destroy any proof and they are very obviously not above threatening either. In my State we were like 90% red but ended up being classified as a Blue state. Either I don't under stand 90% out of 100% or something is really fishy with this.

Not sure who “ they” is your referring to in your note. All the 2020 pre election prep to ensure reliable results(Trumps election IT director indicated 2020 was the most secure election ever),then all the audits , recounts, in key swing states, independent studies( one paid for by Trump that indicated election wasn’t stolen and was shelved) DOJ&FBI investigations, over 60 legal challenges , debunked conspiracy theories, etc. , it would be difficult to hide voter irregularities in the above scenarios that would have been enough to turn over election results . Your state classification does sound fishy, not sure of process there. If someone can come up with some level of proof of group organised to change the outcome to favor Biden or fraud or corruption that would change the result I’m open to hearing it. So far no proof provided. Lots of proof to validate the results that election wasn’t stolen have been done.

Weren't you stating that you couldn't find anything on Google? So I suggested that you try DuckDuckGo, sorry that I didn't say it was a search engine like Bing.

I choose DuckDuckGo because it doesn't filter articles and news stories using strong biases like Google. I write down the question or topic that I'm searching for, and it usually comes up with some articles that may be of interest to me depending on the facts presented and if it is a reliable source.

Ok got it and understand. Someone responded that I can’t find unbiased stuff cause I use Google, but that I drill down not using the first answer Google provides. Just a miss communication. I will try DuckDuckGo as well , I hadn’t heard of it. Thanks!

Agreed Haski. I made the transition to online research only after I was able to navigate the net. I preferred to drive through traffic, search for parking, then to my hard copy work in the university research library, all the while checking on time so that I didn't forget to feed the parking meter. Once I got the hang of working online, I never went back. I'm a retread high school teacher. Retired from a technical profession and trying to get students to think critically and dig deep for answers to questions. Rarely do I find a student who will go beyond a Google search, in part because that is all that is normally expected of them. I look at Google as a can opener. It is a nice place to start exploring, but by no means the end all. I use Google and Wikipedia myself as a way to get started, although I never want to see them show up in a cite. That probably comes from my days in industry where I was looking for real world solutions and not something to impress my professor. I find a lot of free data on .edu and .gov sites and generally will look at articles paying particular attention to the publisher and the funding source. Even then, I still have to evaluate a legitimate article for it's contribution to my research even though it may be at odds with my currently held opinions. I try to be fair to myself, but that doesn't guarantee that I have found all of the answers. I still have difficulty separating the seed from the chaff, and it may be too much to expect from high school students, but for those who can handle it, I am satisfied that I may have helped just a bit. Your comments are appreciated. I generally skim the posts on this site for thoughtful writing, but after I get through the name-calling and superficial rants, there aren't many left. Keep up the good work.

If that’s your opinion that election was stolen, even censored items show up in audits( most swing states, 2000 mules- totally debunked, + 60 court cases, recounts, etc.) Lawyers supporting stolen election losing licenses, FOX being sued by Dominion/ Smartmatics , Trumps DOJ said election wasn’t stolen, Trumps kids stated in deposition felt Election not stolen, Trumps Head of Election security said 2020 was the most secure election ever then Trump fired him, Trump funded independent study that indicated not stolen, then shelved it cause it didn’t have the answer he wanted. Lots of proof it wasn’t stolen. Action: So please show me what proof you have that election was stolen, that there was enough improprieties to change 2020 results and proof of what was censored and who censored results. If you can show me proof vs opinion and debunked conspiracy theories I will read and try to understand. At this point no one has provided proof only unsupported, unproven conspiracy theories and election denier rhetoric.

Check out the several states that held illegal elections by by-passing their states legislature.

Heres Georgia’s court ruling by Federal judge:
Federal Judge Rules Against Fair Fight Action in Georgia Voting Lawsuit
A U.S. District Court judge found that the sections of the state’s election law that cover absentee ballots, voter rolls and voter applications “violate neither the constitution nor the Voting Rights Act.”

U. S. District Court clearly stated election laws used in 2020 election were legal. I suspect I’ll find similar results in the other two states you referenced.
