I am one of her constituents. Considering her opponent, I voted for her. Much of the media hype about her is distorted and taken out of context.
There was no comment about "Jewish Space Lasers," for instance. Kind of like when Trump made a comment in what was supposed to have been a private conversation and said a celebrity could grab a woman by pussy and get away with it. It was immediately misquoted that he said he had done it. He did not say that, but even after this had been proven to be a lie, the media still ran with it, making no effort to correct their lie.
I will tell you what Ms Greene DID do; she put a severe dent in proxy voting. After 911 and Covid, the House (which is supposed to have a quorum of 219 members to conduct business, made a rule that one person could be given proxy power to vote for any number of members. You had 10 or 15 members show up. Whoever had the gavel that day, (usually a Democrat) would call for a voice vote on legislation, then either the yeas or nays have it. An astounding amount of legislation was passed this way with no record of who voted for what. Ms Greene utilized a by law that states any member can request a recorded vote rather than a voice vote. This meant that at least 219 members had to show up and do their fucking jobs, and GET PUT ON RECORD. Oh, the horror! Congressmen having to take time out from screwing their constituents (or more likely their interns) to do what we pay them for.
She reflects the views of her district, which favors a secure border, balanced budget, strong military and secure voting. Her predecessor, Tom Graves, held only two town hall meetings, which probably drew 30 people combined. I know, I attended both. Ms Greene has already held three and packed the house every time.
You will not find many people in this district who vote for people who screw Chinese spies, or vote to defund police, or wish to bestow amnesty on millions of illegal alien trespassers.
