The media cannot hide its true nature. They operate on the leftist spectrum — the far reaches of it. No matter what they say, they are not “fair and independent.”
Case in point. Gov. Ron DeSantis
NOT a media darling, but the left-wing media’s new focus of hate. The flavor du jour varies … Typically, it’s Donald Trump. But anyone who openly mocks the press — their wokeness, their lies — well, the immature juveniles in the leftist media get in a tizzy and attack.
Of course, if they have an “R” by their name or interfere with their authoritarian bullhorns (think: Musk), they get the brunt of the media’s ire.
So why Gov. Ron DeSantis?
First, he steamrolled the competition during the midterms, including nabbing many Hispanic votes (a group the left wants to court).
He’s intelligent, successful, and every bit conservative. He’s smacked down the media, especially on CRT taught in schools, illegal immigration, transgenderism (particularly the subjects of sexual orientation and gender identity aimed at children), and the overreaching COVID response.
Oh, and there’s a 99.9% he will declare his candidacy for a 2024 GOP presidential run. And, he could supplant Trump as the frontrunner (note: leftist media think Trump is beatable).
Now, it is MRC’s business to analyze media for liberal bias. That’s like shooting fish in a barrel — “easy pickings,” as they say. Since 1987, MRC has been recording and archiving TV news. At this time, we have 900,000 hours in our databank. Anytime we need to prove media bias, we scroll through the archive.
NewsBusters’ Bill D’Agostino compiled a montage of the media lobbing nasty remarks at Gov. DeSantis from that massive databank. The proof is in the pudding, and we’ve got it. So get ready for a good laugh — the bias, the downright slander coming from the “free and independent press” is so outlandish it almost rises to the level of parody.
Watch here. MSNBC is well-represented. Yes, the same MSNBC that Jen Psaki, touting her new show on the network, actually had the chutzpah to say on Late Night with Stephen Colbert, “MSNBC has a very high standard of what is factual.”
If only there were a drum stinger after that one (ba-dum, tsh!)
