You don't suppose, having 18 to 20% interest rates and having to keep our military mission the same but with less money, to the expense of grounding a lot of our aircraft, have anything to do with the election???

Let alone gas shortages and gas rationing and keeping thermostats at 65° in one of the coldest winters in our history.

No, actually need proof. The Iranians released the hostages because they knew that a real president took over.

Milo is correct . George Herbert Walker Bush paid the Iranians to keep the hostages until after the election .The students holding the hostages wanted to let them go much sooner because they were costing too much noney. 52 people for over a year runs up quite a bill. Bush made a deal and within two hours after the election the hostages were free. Carter alluded to it in one of his speeches when he wouldn't light the Christmas tree till the hostages were home.

George Bush senior was an evil man. Probably orchestrated the Kennedy assassination. Tried to assassinate Reagan. One of the perpetrators of the twin towers collapse. To name just a few of his achievements.

Jimmy Carter will never admit to it, but now that Biden has become the absolute worst president ever, knocking Carter to second place, Carter can finally die happy because he is no longer the worst.

Forty-seven years ago, Jimmy Carter - a Southern farmer, hero for his actions in taming a nuclear reactor incident, pioneer in the nuclear war service and an important figure in healing the country after the Nixon debacle, took office as the President of the United States. An interesting meme caught hold a number of years ago where it was announced that Mr. Carter was dead, then make fun of the people who come to the thread until it was removed by social media moderation. Sadly, this was not some sick joke by demented crazies.

Now, Mr. Carter will pass away in the next days or weeks at most. This is 100% certain. If he is not respected as a president, he is and should be respected as a humanitarian and a person who served the United States as a patriot. Right or left, it is time to come together at the end of this amazing man’s life and respect his accomplishments.

You are in my prayers Mr. Carter.

President Carter was a better "private citizen" than he was a President. I have no argument with this. Maybe history will judge his performance as President in a better light, but I don't think so.

Amen. He should be respected as a man. I 100% believe he is as patriotic as anyone. It bothers me to see people who call themselves Christians making nasty remarks about him.

I respect him as an American. As president he had it rough. He shouldn't have sprayed Mexico with paraquat. But as. A humanitarian he was someone to look up to. He is in my prayers as well.
