Democrats in Minnesota are now pushing for a ban on lawnmowers and chainsaws that run on gas in the name of fighting climate change.

You didn’t think they were going to stop with gas stoves, did you?

These types of bans are going to continue and expand anywhere that Democrats are in charge.

FOX Business reports:

Minnesota Democrat lawmakers push ban on gas-powered lawn mowers, chainsaws to curb ‘climate pollution’

Two Minnesota Democratic lawmakers are proposing a pair of bills that would significantly impact the state’s backyards and neighborhood ice rinks in an effort to combat climate change.

State Reps. Jerry Newton and Heather Edelson, members of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, introduced legislation on Monday that would block the sale of common landscaping appliances like lawn mowers and chainsaws as well ice-resurfacing machines such as Zambonis, requiring that only electric battery versions be sold in the state starting Jan. 1, 2025.

The Dems don't care about environmental. They're just trying to make a dollar on their green energy investments. If they cared about the environment, they'd give up all those fuel guzzling amenities voluntarily right now. But they haven't, cracks me the f** k up that their constituents will buy into it.

Newsom beat you to it.

October 18, 2021: California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a law this month that forbids the sale of new gas-powered lawn equipment. The new state law, which goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2024, will phase out the sale of new gas-powered equipment using small off-road engines, which can include anything from lawn mowers to backup generators to pressure washers.

Banning gas powered back-up generators, in the face of looming blackouts?

How Dumb-o-crat can they really get?

About California. I was in Sequois National Park a few years ago, camped on the side 9f a mountain overlook8ng the central valley. It was a sunny day and you couldn't see across it because of the smog. Sm9g is caused by gas powered internal combustion engines.
Phasing out chainsaws and other gas power equipnent is a good idea. One of the reasons that the new electric pickup trucks sold out is because they can be used to charge equipnent.
I recently got a air fryer. I love it. I am doing about 1/2 of the cooling that I usually did in my gas oven It is quicker, cheeper and doesn't heat up the kitchern. We also have an electric lawn mower. It has lasted longer than any gas powered one.

We don’t have the infrastructure to go all electric. That is the reality. And not everyone can afford electric cars.

People aren’t thinking And/or those who have more money don’t care about those who are less fortunate

The best path for American to become energy independent is by using the HUGE capabilities we have. Then begin research into other options in a careful, controlled manner - instead of rushing crazily into wind/solar and their well-documented inadequacies and failures.

Maybe, these democrats, if they really believe in man made climate, they would stop buying anything from China, until China stops burning coal!! To many times, China gets a free pass from the UN at our expense. Why?? I think it's called sh#t or get off the pot.
