Since when does any government ever have the right to interfere with colleges and higher education? The idea that a governor even tries to dictate the educational content of any college is ludicrously authoritarian.

College is about higher education and learning, it is about curriculums that are relevant to those who go to that school of their own free choice. If you believe a college is too liberal for you to go to or send kids to, pick a different school...nobody in government has a right to dictate what that school chooses to teach

When the government pays for the school, they have a say. Just ask the department of education.

You still think college is for higher education and learning, how cute. Colleges teach/ indoctrinate young people into Marxism and authoritarian life. The notion of a free exchange of ideas ended years ago when the regressives realized that they couldn't win an argument.

And, of course, the point is it was the left who started this book burning exercise and now they are trying to flip it on us as if it is WE who are the only ones wanting to ban books.

None of the books mentioned are banned...
You can purchase them online, at a bookstore, or borrow from a public Library...

Some places have deemed them inappropriate for certain age groups and taken them out of public schools...

I have no issue with adults choosing to read any literature they desire... But it is for communities to determine what their students are exposed to...

Communities, yes, but not small activist groups like BLM, ANTIFA, leftist woke idiots, LGBTQ queer theory activists, etc, etc. Believe it or not, wokism would not even exist but for the constant MSM promotion.

It's the communities who elect officials to schoolboards... And allow those small groups to have more influence than they should...
