1) When does anyone in America get “a raise ?” When they do a great job !
2) Our US House & Senate have about ruined our country through their gross mismanagement; gross Incompetence;
Self-enrichment ( duh, it’s called CORRUPTION) ; Violation of their Oath ;
Doing end runs around the Constitution- the little Rule Book that’s meant to constrain them.
3) Not being a total Ogre I will give Speaker McCarthy kudos for starting to deflate the anti-American moslem gang of 4; for saying No more to the non-existent Debt ceiling; for trying to right previous wrongs.
4) but- a pay raise ? NO. Congress needs a $50,000.00 PAY CUT; it needs a term limit of 1 term Senate, 2 terms House ; No Pension at all.
5) And i wait for the House member with guts to propose eliminating “ the Scourge of D.C. - LOBBYING, better known as legalized BRIBERY. !!
