My wife explained to me that her mom was very religious, and how the concept of "living in sin" didn't sit so well with her...that we would have to sleep in separate rooms when we were visiting them.

It doesn't matter whether you agree, all that matters is respecting their beliefs.

Do you mean things like their belief that as Americans they have the freedom to purchase air time for commercials just like everyone else?

For one it was her parents home and for two the point you don't get is respecting your parents and others beliefs when in their home. Sad your so self centered that you believe only your wishes be respected.

Nope, keep their beliefs to themselves and the people they care about.

Don't know how you arrived at that when I was perfectly willing to respect their beliefs when in their home...do you think I respected those beliefs when they visited us...stayed in separate rooms? Don't be stupid, of course not.

Where did you miss the part where I do respect people's beliefs when in their homes?

So reaching out to others like minded isn't allowed if you want to communicate to others over the air waves. Man,you think anyone who doesn't believe exactly like you shouldn't have a voice or have respect for their ideals. Only your Supreme ways are acceptable?

So you don’t believe religious people should have the same freedoms as other Americans?

So you understand the concept intellectually, yet seem completely unable to apply it to anyone but your MIL. Interesting.

Do you keep your religious beliefs to yourself when among those you care about?
Is there anyone on this planet that you really care about?
Other than yourself, I mean.

They are a private company. Is it your position that a private company shouldn't have a right to determine the policy for who can and can't advertise with them?

Woody's not a conservative Blade. He wouldn't be a liberal if he didn't have empathy for others...he would be just like you!
