Closer to 800,000. Also, Lincoln did not free all the slaves. The Emancipation Proclamation only applied to slaves in certain areas of the South. There were also almost half a million slaves in the four slave states that remained in the Union who were completely ignored by the Proclamation.
In the 1830 census, there were 1,276 black slave owners in this country, who owned some 12,000 slaves. Liberal MSNBC did an article on this and found that a little over half of these free black slave owners "owned" a couple of family members. The other half bought and sold blacks just like their counterparts in Equatorial Africa.

I was stationed in San Francisco back in the 60's. The Greyhound bus station men's room had about 20 empty urinals in a row with no dividers. I went in there to take a leak and there was a queer that came over at the urinal next to mine. I told him to get the f**k away from me or I'll piss on his leg. He just stood there and I turned and pissed on his leg. Well, he left me alone and I told him, 'next time he does that, I'll knock the f**k out of him'.

The slaves sold to the West were the luckiest. They were given equal rights and freedom in 1863-1865, where 620,000 died to free the slaves. And now given all the freedom and opportunities to rise up and succeed.

But in the Muslim world. Christians are treated as slaves by the Muslims, and often time killed due to their belief. Christians used to be 20% population among the Muslims in the ME, but currently they are only 5% cause they have been constantly killed by Muslims.

Those slaves sold to the Muslim world were not lucky. No complain also cause those women sold to the Muslims , the black slaves were used a sex slaves and tortured. Just like the other women who belong to the Islam culture women are treated as slaves serving their husbands.
