It was a stupid poll to take. He should have known liberals would bring out a flood of yeses.
Musk cuts thousands of Twitter employees getting paid to do nothing...That terrible man...apparently 57% of people don't own Twitter stock and have never run anything.

Elon has no intention of remaining the CEO of Twitter. He's said as much. His Tesla/Spacex/Neuralink/OpenAI/(et. al.) plate is full. He'll select someone to run things who understands that they are to continue to manage according to his guidelines and knows that he has ultimate decision-making power on any Twitter issue. Then he'll go back to doing other important Musk stuff. I'm guessing the poll was yet another attempt to out bots and other fraudulent accounts, and it was probably very successful. He'll never get rid of them all, but you can bet their ranks have been greatly reduced at this point. Don't agree with some of his progressive ideas, but what he's done to twitter is a lot more positive than negative, so there's that.

Twitter was devoid to some extent, of conservative voices prior to Musk. It was largely a liberal platform. A lot of conservatives had left for “greener pastures”. He must have known the poll would be somewhat lopsided. He had his fun now give another patriot an opportunity to drag the democrazies through the mud. I would personally like to see a platform (townhall) where anyone could speak their mind without being silenced but in this climate it may not be possible.
