I believe America still maintains the largest gold reserve of any other nation. Didn't we lose a great deal when the twin towers collapsed on 911? My mind is obviously rambling.

I received a document/letter decades ago, showing that Fort Knox transfered the gold to the Federal Reserve bank in New York. The Document listed the dates and quantities of gold transferred.
It is my understanding that Fort Knox was cleaned out by the Federaal Reserve bankers.
The Document was titled 1984... as I recall.
