Unless you watch female basketball probably not... What made her famous was that she got arrested in Russian airport with some drugs.. Black, American, lesbian. That's a big freaking deal!! So what about Paul Whalen?? White, American Military (Marine) man.....So who do you think is THIS Administration, knowing how much they're paying attention to race and the fact that she's lesbian.. Who do you think they will fight for?? Of course not White White military dude who is most likely straight... Like I said before, I'm glad that she's free,but our Government should of fought for Mr Whalen harder... And what about the man we freed?? Viktor Bout who has killed probably thousands of Americans by selling arms to our enemies... He has our blood on his hands... So now I bet you he will join Putin in a war against Ukraine... Was all this swap worth it??... I don't know.. Do you?...

I don't believe it has to do with Black or woman. He was arrested for alleged espionage, she for drugs. While I agree we should be fighting to free him, Russia considers him a spy. That's why we didn't get him, her crime was much less important to the his alleged crime. They'll try to hold him till we have someone bigger to trade him for.
