I feel as a matter of principal no person who entered the US illegally should ever get citizenship or asylum. To eliminate uncertainty we could give some a new class of visa- non-immigrant permanent resident. I see no reason to give citizenship to anyone who flouted the law.

They should all be rounded up and repatriated to their own country at that countries expence. It wouldn't take much of that ane the parent coutries would start taking care of that situation by themselves.
We borrow money to "give" to all of these deserving nations. Let's start deducting the cost of repatriation from the foreign aide that our legislators "give" them.
