And at the same time they and other right wing media ignore the increasing number of deaths from good old amerikan crystal meth manufacturing and distribution in maga states like Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia?

Of course meth is a nationwide problem, but it lacks the drama of political rhetoric, so blame goes to Asia and Mexican cartels, while excusing domestic drug lords

Maybe because blocking the importation of Fentanyl is something we CAN do something about, but Brandon doesn't lift a finger. Piss off China? Trust me, domestic ones aren't excused. I guess you haven't seen a bust. A SWAT Team goes in for one unarmed guy. Are you one of those defund the police guys?

Fetanyl is even more dangerous and deaths from it are increasing. A tiny amount can kill you. That ain’t politics.

Drug Overdose Deaths in the U.S. Top 100,000 Annually
Provisional data from CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics indicate that there were an estimated 100,306 drug overdose deaths in the United States during 12-month period ending in April 2021, an increase of 28.5% from the 78,056 deaths during the same period the year before.

The new data documents that estimated overdose deaths from opioids increased to 75,673 in the 12-month period ending in April 2021, up from 56,064 the year before. Overdose deaths from synthetic opioids (primarily fentanyl) and psychostimulants such as methamphetamine also increased in the 12-month period ending in April 2021. Cocaine deaths also increased, as did deaths from natural and semi-synthetic opioids (such as prescription pain medication).

The provisional data presented in this visualization include: the reported and predicted (estimated) provisional counts of deaths due to drug overdose occurring nationally and in each jurisdiction; a U.S. map of the percentage changes in provisional drug overdose deaths for the current 12-month ending period compared with the 12-month period ending in the same month of the previous year, by jurisdiction; and the reported and predicted provisional counts of drug overdose deaths involving specific drugs or drug classes occurring nationally and in selected jurisdictions.

The reported and predicted provisional counts represent the numbers of deaths due to drug overdose occurring in the 12-month periods ending in the month indicated. These counts include all seasons of the year and are insensitive to variations by seasonality. Deaths are reported by the jurisdiction in which the death occurred.

Obviously there is a huge demand for drugs for recreational use, and as long as there is a consumer demand, there will be willing sellers and suppliers.

And with emerging Legal marijuana markets, all drug use will continue to increase, much of it with the government sanctions.

Now will the new maga congress do anything but run their yap about the fentanyl crisis? Or say it is a states rights issue?

Fentanyl is a chemical warfare agent being used in a prolonged attack on the American people. It is also a weapon of MASS DESTRUCTION due to concentration and ability to kill at such low doses. This attack is being carried out intentionally by the Chinese and Mexican cartels in order to weaken the USA.

Why didn't the FJB congress do anything about it?

His open door "policy" caused this mess...now you expect Republicans to clean it up.....typical.

A better question is why do idiot Americans demand fentanyl for recreational use?

There would be NO drug sales of cocaine, heroin, marijuana, fentanyl or crystal meth if the idiot users were not idiot users.

And the new maga congress has already said they would control the border, so that will solve your complaint

Trump's congress DID have the border controlled - along with the help of Mexican president Obrador!!!

Biden cancelled all of Trump's policies, opened the border, welcomed in everyone - including drug cartels and their drugs and sex trade - and you want it all to be cleaned up by Republicans now???

Like I said - typical.

You 'Rats open the border, cancel our energy independence, "donate" BILLIONS of dollars to the Taliban in weaponry and rekindle the Taliban movement, sell off our strategic oil reserves, lock down our entire country for over a year, cause the largest inflation in 48 years, get involved in a war in Ukraine, and then fund it with multiple billions of dollars (maybe even trillions by now)......and now you are actually saying you want Republicans to make all the druggies suddenly stop their habits so that all the dealers will stop bringing drugs into our country?????

I would laugh out loud at you, if it weren't such an incredible crisis you 'Rats have put our country in, and YES, Trump has the ability to clean that all up. He better win, or our country will be finished. (DeSantis doesn't have the ballz to pull it off.)

At least you recognize that it can be done. It just can't be done by 'Rats.

They demand fentanyl because the government stopped giving out opioids and there’s a lot of people in pain

I think it's all part of the depopulation plan. A drug that can kill instantly when touched! And they make it look like candy, and play chalk! That and abortion.
