That is something that would happen in the Fat Boy administration. Biden did not appoint Garland to be a lap dog like Trump and the gaggle of lackeys that he had going in and out of "acting" AG's. They were "acting" because they had no chance in hell of ever being confirmed by the Senate due to incompetency or to their life-long residency in Trump's pocket. Biden chose a competent man with impeccable credentials to do the job in the first place.

The job of the AG is to prosecute federal crimes. Fat Donny's problem is that he has committed so many that it is impossible to ignore or to shine on. The Fat Boy is in for some very serious problems both at the federal level AND at the state level. State crimes cannot be pardoned by the White House.
