Funny rb! Are you calling yourself "objective?"

Apparently, rb is offended by the suggestion that Trump support is a personality cult. I'll put some stock into his suggestion that they are more concerned about the future of America. I think they were convinced that Trump was the right man to insure a better future for America.

The second part of his post was a devolution into tit-for-tat thinking. "We're not obsessed with Trump, YOU are!"

Sorry, but I've lived in this country for over half a century and I've never seen such an aftermarket for presidential swag before. They actually had stores where you can go in and buy Trump stuff. Hats' flags, coffee mugs, shirts, coins, all kinds of stuff. I never saw that with any of previous seven presidents. Sure, some of them attract admiration, like Kennedy, Reagan and Obama but they didn't have dedicated stores for crying out loud. Trump's organization even offers membership cards. So, it's hard not to assume there's at least some obsession going on.

Maybe *some* of them are less prone to the cult of personality, but markets don't exists without a reason.

That’s the stupidest thing trump ever said and you repeat it as if it is factual. There is a process for declassifying documents and the labels would be removed.

It IS a fact. Documents are not classified. It is the information within them that is classified. If a president of the US chooses to reveal classified information, he has the power to do exactly that. The very act of revealing it declassifies it and that act of revealing it was begun by a thought.

And that IS a fact!!

One thing the president cannot do, though, is declassify information “by thinking about it” — i.e., without communicating that decision to anyone else. This conclusion follows not from any particular legal requirements but rather from the very essence of what it means to classify or declassify information. As noted above, these are two-step processes: first, an official determines whether the information requires protection, and second, the information is flagged to ensure that the protections are applied or removed. If an official claims to have classified or declassified information after taking the first step but not the second, it’s like a customer saying she ordered food at a restaurant when she has decided what she wants to eat but hasn’t told the waiter.

Well said, and I absolutely encourage President Trump to follow that path! I think it is the only way to win.
Indeed, if he does NOT, Trump will, IMO, lose most of his supporters, including me, because MAGA is NOT about Trump, and never has been.

✅ you are MAGA

Most is definitely handled in a manner such as that, but it doesn't detract from my argument. If a president elects to reveal information, like in a speech or a conversation, to the public or anyone else without clearance, he has declassified it, period. The choice to do so began within his mind, and he can do it, too.

If the act of "revealing" classified information is the same as declassifying it, is a former president required to "reveal" the classified secrets he just declassified. Is it a fact that anybody can get on the "reveal" list of persons to be notified?

Is a president required to determine if the contents of a speech or conversation had been previously classified before his mind begins to reveal the information to the general public? Does a person need to be a mind reader in able to participate in the process?

A former president may not do it.

If you believe Trump sucked but cannot see that Biden sucks a hundred times more then yes, you're dumber than a 1st grader. May you live long enough to curse yourself for the nation and people you helped to destroy.

If he reveals information, which trump repeatedly did, it is still classified. It just shows that he is an idiot.
