Some times you have to bug them to get help--from experience.

There never were riots after American elections until trump came along. There were never "rigged elections" or "fake news" This is all recent and radical.
More BS. I guess you forget 1968 and the early 70's for example. How about the summer of 2020?

I am called a leftist but I am not dangerous to anybody. For 17 years now I have been an elected public official .---very small but I have worked both physically and on the bureaucratic side to turn a system of goat trails consisting of less than a mile into very drivable streets. My fellow committee members are Republicans and we work together and support each other. Working together we have provided needed signage-installed culverts provided drainage and laid down thousands of yards of gravel . We are all volunteers working with a small budget and we have made a much better neighborhood. I have been honest and hard working and I have nothing to be ashamed of.

I THANK MY LORD FOR THE BLESSING OF BEING BORN HERE IN AMERICA!! HERE, WE'RE GUARENTEED "LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS"! Where else in the world do the people decide who the leaders will be? What other place is "OF, FOR, and BY THE PEOPLE"? GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

You just want to start an arguement--go elsewhere I'm not interested.

Yep - government funded housing.
I do take exception to the VA home loans. The service member invested to earn that loan. Same with the GI Bill - part of their compensation packet. Just the same as you working for a civilian company and earning certain benefits.
Both government agencies help individuals get good affordable housing. Why do you take exception to the VA home loans?
Rose42 wrote:
Hardly. The VA is a mess, many vets are homeless and 22 commit suicide every day.
So we should stop offering VA home loans?

Typical ELWNJ attempting to deflect by bring up something not even mentioned.

Of course not. Why would you say something so stupid? I didn’t even come close to implying that.

Depends on who you’re dealing with. Too many don’t have the experience you did. Its disgraceful

The VA home loans were earned - not a handout.
A VA home loan, like all loans, is offered to individuals who meet specific eligibility requirements. HUD loans have their own eligibility requirements. Neither one is a "handout."

Nope.
One
EARNS a VA loan. Same with GI Bill benefits.

We are by far still the BEST country in the world!!
proud, Democracy is at stake in this country. Many Republican states are gerrymandering their districts to minimize the African- American vote, which is overwhelmingly democratic. At the heart of democracy is the idea of one person, one vote.
The Trumpian attack on the press is an attack on democracy as well. There can be no democracy without the people having faith in the news media.
The attack on the Capitol on Jan. sixth is another sign of democracy being in danger, as is 70% of the Republicans believing that Trump had the election stolen from him. This is in spite of having no evidence at all of their accusation.
There are many other signs of democracy being weakened by the MAGA crowd as well. In some blue states, partisan poll watchers carrying rifles and dressed in tactical gear, are trying to intimidate the public into not voting.
